I learned a lot in my recovery !

I learned to savour life sober.

I learned to be honest to every step I brand and every person I talk to !

Too they learned me to love myself and I cannot alter the things that happend to me or others I only can change my further steps in life !

I learned to dear life and others and helping other people in recovery I'1000 from Belgium and if anyone needs help !

The second stap before y'all tell yourself you are harmless to you self and your life became not livable anymore y'all learn to ask people for help because a lot we were not able to set information technology and so ask help you tin can't go trough the strength of habit solitary !

My mother smoked with me so I ever had a steady supply. I would fume all twenty-four hour period every day. It made me feel autonomously of for once instead of apart from. The empty feeling wasn't unbearable anymore. My life became unmanageable in the blink of an eye. I started skipping school to get high and falling behind in my classes. I no longer have a desire to use drugs which is the only promise this program gave me but recovery has given me so much more. Then, if you are still in agile addiction and you are reading this, yous are loved and y'all are not alone. It is possible to become and stay clean. There is hope later dope. You are worth it to fight for yourself. You don't accept to keep fighting. The terminal and near important message I'll give is that an addict. Nice list, only it seems you missed the 2 best (my opinion, sure) songs about addiction: "Sober" from Tool (same atomic number 82 every bit A Perfect Circle), and "Lights" from Archive. I have struggled with addiction for 14 years. There has been many ups and downs through information technology all. I realized I had a trouble when I lost my husband, our children and my family unit. The day that information technology really hit me was a day I had the chance to run into my children but chose not to because I was afraid that I would miss out on getting some of the pills that we had bought. There'due south many moments that haunt me still today. I had 3 years sober and relapsed but luckily made it back into the program and now take just under a month. So many of these songs actually helped me during my attempts at sobriety. Right now I'm happy to say that I have over 3 months clean mainly from a decade long IV opiate habit (although in that location weren't many drugs that I didn't at least do occassionally); I'chiliad really hopeful that this endeavour is going to be my final one, only I just take things solar day by day (some days it's more like 60 minutes by hour).

One song that actually spoke to me during my early recovery (although some days my emotions were so raw and my cravings so intense that I couldn't handle watching the video with the song) was Against My Improve Judgment by MayDay. I remember it would exist a proficient addiction to your list. I wish that all suffering addicts and their families detect the gift of Recovery.

Recovery has been the hardest yet most rewarding journey of my life. Habit ruined my life, my childrens lives and everyone ive ever loved. It destroyed every meaningfull human relationship i ever had. And almost killed me more times than i can count. My all time best advice would be these two things..

1. Go to a detox center and watch someone suffering from withdrawal systems trust me that will & should exist enough to stop you from wanting to attempt drugs if you lot can't go to a detox heart to see someone in person watch online and take information technology serious this is your life..

The people you phone call friends anyone you use with are anyone that reminds you of that life of drugs and drinking Drop them forever even if they are sober considering you never know how strong they are, are how strong you are and one of you could mess up the others sobriety with old memories trust me your better off with family and new friends and people...
